 Margaret Kendall Evans, born in 1938 in rural Missouri, developed a deep appreciation for nature and color long before receiving formal art instruction. After a life devoted to nursing, military service, and social work, she eventually found her artistic voice through oil painting — embracing palette knives and brushes with joyful abandon. Known as “The Flower Lady,” her work celebrates blooming beds of peonies and roses, drawn from memory and emotion. Blending sincerity with charm, Evans' paintings reflect a lifetime of resilience, observation, and the quiet beauty of the everyday.

 Delores Nast is an American artist known for her bold botanical abstractions in acrylic.
